Do bigger trusts pay less per school?
No. It is deliberately one flat price per school, however many you run. Easy to budget, nothing to negotiate.
How does it work for a trust with several schools?
You pay the per-school price for each school you add. One contract covers the whole trust, and every school gets every feature.
Is there a contract minimum?
Annual contracts only, paid up-front or on receipt of PO. No multi-year lock-in.
Can we trial it before committing?
Yes. We run a structured 30-day trial with a real meeting cycle. No credit card needed.
What does setup cost?
Zero. Your trust, your schools, and the governors registered with the DfE are pre-loaded. You confirm, customise committees, and start running meetings.
Is training included?
A live onboarding session for clerks and a self-serve library for governors are included. We don't charge separately for training.
How does invoicing work?
Annual invoice, BACS or card. We support purchase orders. VAT applied where applicable.
What about charitable status & ESFA reporting?
govern.school is built for academy trusts and is compatible with ESFA reporting requirements. The expense is operational (subscription), not capital.
